No, really inexpensive at Fiat are currently only the other models. One obviously knows about the popularity of the car sold 1.5 million times since 2007. Impressive 12,250 euros are payable for an engine, which lacks what already exists at the competitors, for example four-valve technology with two overhead camshafts.

Technically more interesting is then already the two-cylinder, as a Turbo version since the end of 2013. But even for the without turbo are due 2,700 euros more.The standard air conditioning in that case comforts a little bit. However, the steering wheel has no longitudinal adjustment in this version, too. For this, there is a semiautomatic for manageable for 900 euros.



Not much has done to the body even now after 8 years. Front has been added LED daytime running lights. As expected, rear was changed to LED, but in the middle a surface in body colour (picture 1 above). The facelift of a successful product has always been a problem in automotive engineering.



Only the three petrol engines are offered In Germany, elsewhere the 1.3l diesel engine (Multijet) also. Planned are an LPG version and one each low powered two- and a stronger four-cylinder engine. Inside has changed more. One interesting and very richly varied seating furniture (pictured above) is accompanied by changes at the dashboard. Much sheet metal in 13 selectable colours makes an interesting combination with plastic, together with the speedometer border and the steering wheel in black or white. But now there is a 5" touchscreen. And the speedometer also is changeable from the display (picture 6 below).



One can even summarise the new Fiat 500 as follows: The motorisation is found quickly. But take half a day in a relaxed atmosphere with your partner, to discuss the whole colour combinations. Because in addition to the 13 basic colours, there is the important Second Skin, of its possibilities you only see a small reflection below.
